Everything is someone's opinion or intention. If you are believing that thought creates, as I am, then we can view everything as someone's opinion manifested.

Having been practicing and studying astrology for over 20 years I have come across some common misinterpretations which I would like to share with you. I want to be clear in qualifying that this is my personal opinion and does not necessarily mesh with others, the lay person or perhaps those who practice this most magical and wonderful art. The last time I searched astrology on Google there were over 38 million hits. We can expect much diverse opinion in this science. There are those, for example, who would not refer to this as a science. Here are a couple of what I find are common misunderstandings or misinterpretation about astrology.

Number 1: The planets do not cause anything to happen. It is common practice for astrologers to say such and such a planet in such and such a house is in such and such a sign so you will experience such and such. Once we are aware of the holographical nature of reality we can understand that planetary alignments correlate with personal and global energy experiences. Planets appear to cause things because of the correlating metaphoric parallels which exist within a multi-layered holographic existence. Astrology gives us a larger panoramic view of an event or drama, of many things. I like to say "it's as if" the planets are causing things where as what is occurring is we are privy to a grander view of things. Think of it this way - if you had never seen a reflection of your self in a mirror, if those reflective surfaces never existed, then someone could look at you and describe what you look like, they would see the whole image of you from their visual perspective and describe you. Astrology is like a holographical blueprint which provides rich detail of who we are and how we fit into a holographic world. It is up to the astrologer then to translate the charts such that an individual can find the clarity they seek within their our belief system.

Number 2: Astrology is not related to the constellations. We are going to need some more qualifying here as I would not necessarily agree with this statement my self without some. A fav debunkers argument is that astrology can't be correct because of the procession of the equinoxes. The Sun's placement, as well as the planets and Moon, are all off as our local solar system has progressed some 23 or so degrees away from what typical astrology uses. Here's the scoop as I see it. All 12 zodiac signs, Aries through Pisces, are not the same thing as what astronomy would call Aries though Pisces. At one time they were aligned, not today however. The 12 signs of the astrologers zodiac, most astrologer's me included, are actually 12 sectors along an interacting sine wave cycle setup by the intersection of our Earth's equator extended to the celestial equator and the zodiac belt. The beginning of the sine wave starts at Aries and is divided in 12 sectors. At one time they were aligned and so it made perfect sense to refer to the constellation Aries when referring to the energy dynamics of this first sector. Just like sound swings continuously through a 360 degree cycle so do astrological signs and cycles. Anyone who has taken a serious and diligent look into astrology knows how profound and awesome it is, they know it's accuracy, and yet it is true - Aries is not really Aries. When we are looking at Ages (as in the Age of Pisces)then Aries is truly Aries and yet even here we have a grand cycle , a sine wave going through it's 12 phases. Another interesting point when we consider the nature of mutual resonance, is the bounded relationship between an Astrologer's Aries and Aries in the grand cycle.

One thing we can all agree on is that there is no stick long enough, or step ladder high enough, to get up there and move the planets around.
